Drop your car off at 1 Miro St for all servicing needs. It's probably a good idea to ring first and book, but we do have an emergency service too.

Minis, Volvos or Toyota Hilux's, are all welcome at Parts & Services Ltd. On hand is an extensive Parts Warehouse and an Engineering Shop for those unexpected things. For example we once fixed a campervan door that had been snapped off by a passing car.... You just never know.

There again, those silly items like Window Wiper Blades: No Problem: bring your car in and we'll do them. Headlights, Oil Changes and Steering Joints all handled by qualified and experienced staff in our purpose-built Car Workshop and Lube Bay. Top-Notch Genuine Parts fitted with Manufacturers Gaurantee. Older Classic and Vintage Cars treated with the love and appreciation they deserve: Our Spare Parts Team is fanatical about sourcing hard-to-find items. Especially for those out-of-production models. We have a monumental stock of Drive Belts, Mechanical sundries: nuts & bolts, washers and whatnot.

Our in-house Auto-electrician has the use of a High-Performance Computerized Oscilloscope complete with a suite of Vehicle Diagnostics Data to fix those tricky computer problems.

Parts and Services Ltd does State Insurance Callout Service work, and are the Regional Service Centre for a large Campervan Rental Company.

DIY?

As many a DIY Mechanic has discovered, there's a whole lot more to car servicing than there used to be. For example ignition points aren't really an item for servicing any more, nor are spark plugs in most vehicles: The computerized ignition systems make them last for years without any attention at all.

The poor old DIY Mechanic can end up replacing bits that are perfectly good, and not attending to things that are important. For instance, modern Fuel Systems are pressurized all the way from the fuel tank to the engine, and the Fuel Filters are very significant servicing items.
Your Anti-Freeze is another absolutely vital detail that must be attended to rigorously, often with an original manufacturer's product. Failure to cater for the correct Anti-Freeze can be fatal to your engine.
Even checking the oil has become daunting, with so many Synthetic Oils out there, which last for 20,000 Kms. You don't want to mix supermarket oil with Synthetic Oil, especially when the synthetic costs about $100 a pop.

Original Parts are sourced for even the most fiendishly difficult models, although, should getting originals turn out to be actually impossible we can usually get acceptable alternatives.
